Ubuntu

If a prgram doesn't show the top menu bar (seen in Ubuntu) then check the Ubuntu settings:

Open Settings->Appearance->Behavior
In Show the menus for a window:
- Choose 'In the window's title bar'
- Notice setting of 'Menus visibility', both settings work
